Hello, my name is Andrew Lillie and I am the founder of Firefly Linguistics and the creator of the Spanish By Topic database. I am also a member of the Chickasaw Nation. The Chickasaw Tribe’s ancestral homelands were in the Southeast U.S. This area is also firefly territory. For Native Americans fireflies represent illumination and the search for knowledge and wisdom. My goal is to assist anyone who is learning Spanish or who communicates between Spanish and English to quickly locate vocabulary equivalents between both languages.
